Catholic culture: the chapel veil...

Isn't she beautiful? Photo taken in a Rome church earlier this year.

Che fascino! Che bellezza! Un' ninfa veramente incantevole!

Se fossi un chierichetto vigoroso, dimenticherei subito della vocazione al sacerdozio.

A vestment in this manner is the one that girl "acolytes" should be using. This would temper the most hineus aspects of the new custom sanctioned by JPII, but the sight of girl acolytes using clerical vestments is just sickening.

Chapel veils are indded making a comeback, I have seen a many in NYC Churches recently, and since the Vatican is in favor of them, now is the time to issue a statement about its' history and use, before the moment fades.Once again yound women are open to it, knowing the real symbolism behind it and not the image of repression the the 60's linked to it. I think the Holy Office should encourage its' use publically once again and support these yound women who stand correctly for Catholic identity...God Bless them all.
