I hope to get to Rome again soon. It was four years ago when I was there. I went on pilgrimage with friends. Our days were spent seeing churches and the sights and our nights spent going to pubs and clubs. (Have you ever had a drink called a "Flaming Lamborghini"?) I also went to the Wallbuilders' church most days for the Low Mass. Sadly the siesta seemed to elude me every day until one night at dinner I started to close my eyes and my head nearly hit the ossobucco...
Wonderful - if it weren't for that incredably tacky grille in front of the sarcophagus of Bl. John XXIII. I can't even look at it.
